    I think The cricket have the 2 spot at the ranking and It got the most number of Fans all over the world not the football.And it is the Hardest sport to play.

    I think on the basis on fanbase cricket is no. 2 after soccer but if we consider the number of countries involved in it its problly fourth or fifth. It will surely overtake soccer if it expands into markets like US and China where soccer is not that big.
